Info about the grape variety

Grape variety: Divona
Indigenous | 2 HA in Switzerland (0,01%)

A variety of multi-resistant grape (PIWI) created at the Agroscope Research Center in Pully. Divona was named in homage to a Celtic source deity. It is the little brother of Divico, a multi-resistant red grape also resulting from the marriage between Gamaret and Bronner. Wines from Divona are highly rated at the tasting, according to Agroscope. They present a fine bouquet, with aromas reminiscent of exotic fruits, citrus fruits and often embellished with floral and mineral notes.
