Info about the grape variety

Grape variety: Riesling
Traditional (planted before 1900) | 22 HA in Switzerland (0,15%)

Riesling originates from the Rhine Valley and the Moselle. It is the most cultivated grape in Germany and one of the oldest in the country which was first mentioned in 1435. It produces fruity and structured wines that can be tasted in all circumstances but that can also be appreciated as wines for aging thanks to their beautiful acidity. In Switzerland, Riesling is mainly planted in the wine regions of German-speaking Switzerland.
